The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) under the administration of Pres. Rody Duterte will start the construction of flyovers, and underpass in Cebu City as confirmed by City Mayor Tomas Osmeña.

The big-ticket infrastructure projects in Cebu will help ease traffic congestion in the Queen City of the South which is also considered as the most developed city outside of Metro Manila.

These big-ticket projects by the DPWH includes construction of an underpass on the Mambaling Access Road exit to the South Road Properties (SRP), to give commuters from the south quicker access to the city’s downtown areas.

Once the Duterte projects will be finished as promised by the Duterte admin, the underpass will become the second underpass in the City of Cebu, next to the one built at the entrance of the Cebu South Coastal Road.
