Pres. Duterte Receives P370 Million Worth of Arms & Ammunition from China (Photos & Video)

The tough-talking President of the Republic of the Philippines, Pres. Rody Duterte received 50 Million Yuan or approximately P370 million worth of arms and ammunition from China. The turn-over ceremony was held on Wednesday, June 28 at Clark Airbase in Pampanga.

Pres. Duterte received the donations from China which was represented by Chinese Ambassador Zhao Jinhua.

The donations from China includes set of sniper rifles, high precision rifles, and automatic rifles. According to some military officials, the arrivals of the donations will be a big boost to the country’s Armed Forces capabilities particularly during this time of war in Marawi City.

During the turn-over ceremony, Chinese Ambassador Zhao Jinhua said that a second set of military arms and ammunition would arrive in the next few months.

The Philippine government under the administration of Pres. Duterte is so grateful with the gestures accorded by the Chinese government to the Philippines.

Aside from the military aid from China, the Chinese government through Ambassador Zhao also gave the Philippine government another P5 million for the families of the slain soldiers in Marawi City.

This is on top of the P15 million aid it earlier donated to the government for rehabilitation and relief operations in the conflict-torn city of Marawi.
