Ex-Soldier: With Free College Education, Militants Should be Banned from SUCs

1 min read

A veteran soldier asked the general public that with the passage of the Free College Education Law being signed by Pres. Duterte, taxpayers who will fund this program shall now demand or rather dictate how our money will be spent.  The veteran soldier, Abe Purugganan even suggested that militancy should be banned from all SUCs in the Philippines.

According to Sir Abe Purugganan, the Filipino should dictate how taxpayer’s money will be spent for free education in the country. Communists partylist organizations that are now operating in our State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) should be banned from the benefits.

The taxpayers must ensure the return of our money being invested for our younger generation. For the past few days, communist partylists are celebrating the victory of the Free College Education Law signed by Pres. Duterte.

Here’s the Complete Statement of Sir Abe Purugganan:

WHO SHOULD DICTATE HOW TAXPAYER’S MONEY WILL BE SPENT FOR FREE EDUCATION?

Taxpayers or students organizations?

Communists partylist organizations that are operating in our state
universities and colleges are now rallying to claim victory over the law
on free education and to demand other issues they are raising to the
government.

With the passage of the free education, militancy should be banned from all state universities and colleges.

We the taxpayers who will fund this program shall now demand or rather dictate how our money will be spent.

We the taxpayers must ensure the return of our money being invested
for our younger generation. While we will ensure their right to
education, we will demand that their education is for the best interest
of our nation and not for the interest of any organization or politician
and much more not for the interest of the enemies of the state. No
organization should be allowed to take advantage of our money that we will be pouring to the SUC”s.

These are hard earned money from our
sweat and blood. Credit must be given to taxpayers not to any
organization. Our desires must be the reference of congress and the
executive branch in spending our money.

It is high time we taxpayers, be organized and involved in the management of our money being given to government.

Every citizen of this country should remember that we fund government operations.

Without our money, there will be no free education for the SUC’s.
