The tough-talking President of the Republic of the Philippines, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte proved once and for all that he really cared for his soldiers fighting the government’s battle against extremist as he visits the battleground of Marawi City for the fourth time as President.

Pres. Rody Duterte’s visit to Marawi City on September 11, 2017 was just one of the few surprises of the President during the celebration of the 100th anniversary of former Pres. Marcos.

The Philippine President was accompanied by some of his most trusted men and a few members of the elite AFP forces who guarded the President together with PCOO Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson who could not hide her nervousness as they approached the main battle area.

Pres. Duterte visited the Grand Mosque in Marawi City, one of the few places of recovered by the government forces which used to be a hideout of the terrorist groups.

According to Mocha Uson who took the video of Pres. Duterte’s visit to the Grand Mosque, she couldn’t control her emotions as they approached the place which is clearly within the battle area and as far as 300 meters from the said place, an actual encounter happened.

Binista ulit ni PRRD ang Marawi sa pang-apat na pagkakataon. Sa pagkakataon na ito ay talagang napailing ako at napamura sa aking isipan ng, “p*tang *na, ano ba itong ginagawa ng aming Presidente?”. Sapagkat habang kami ay naglalakad papunta sa Grand Mosque ay palakas ng palakas ang putukan. Doon ko naramdaman ang kaba at takot sapagkat 300 meters lang ang layo ng bakbakan o frontline. Bakas sa aking mukha ang takot at napansin ito ni Tatay Digong kung kaya’t siya’y nakipagbiruan na lamang.
