Rigoberto “Bobi” Tiglao is a diplomat and veteran writer, he was previously assigned as Ambassador to Cyprus and Greece. Prior to his appointment as ambassador Tiglao was appointed as Presidential Spokesperson on April 2001, Press Secretary on April 2002 and Presidential Chief of Staff on December 9, 2002.

I knew right away when I met RJ Nieto that he was an exceptionally talented researcher, reporter and writer. The kid was like a young Bobi Tiglao, with tons of mass appeal.
Of course, before today, a lot of people already knew RJ as Thinking Pinoy, the hotshot blogger. But after today’s bravura performance at the Senate, I think they’ve gotten an idea of what I saw that day when I sat down to talk to him the first time with his “mother-in-law-to-be” Trixie Cruz-Angeles.
