Watch: Student Allegedly Recruited by Leftist Group Refuses to Return to Her Parents “Ayokong Maging Investment”

One of the controversial missing students allegedly recruited by the leftist group resurfaced in front of the mainstream media as she claimed that she did not went missing but refused to go back to her parents for some reasons.

According to the missing students, she don’t want to be used as an “investment” by her parents. The statement of the student was released to the media during a press conference with the Makabayan Bloc at the House of Representatives.

The Grade 11 student, Alicia Lucena from Far Eastern University (FEU), said that she voluntarily joined Anakbayan and not forced by the group unlike what her parents claimed earlier.

Lucena revealed during the press conference that she joined the controversial leftist group Anakbayan because of her hat against the government and its policies.

During the Senate investigation the parents of the alleged missing student pleads for help from the government, but Alicia stated that she doesn’t want to return to her mother, because she believes that she is going to be obliged by her parents to return what they spent to her since childhood.

““May sapat na akong kaalaman, parang sinasabi nila na parang obligasyon ko raw at responsibilidad ko na sumunod sa kanila dahil nag invest sila sa akin at dapat ibalik ko yun sa kanila,” Alicia told the press.

“Parang investment lang ang pagiging anak, ayoko pong maging investment lang dahil hawak ko po yung sarili kong buhay, may mga sarili akong desisyon at buhay ko ito,” she added.
