Team PNoy and Liberal Party candidate Hilario “Junjun” Davide III was proclaimed as the new governor of the Province of Cebu, one of the Philippines most popular and vote-rich province. The province is also considered as one of the richest in the country.
The victory of Jun Jun Davide in the Province of Cebu ended the political reign of the Garcia’s in Cebu who have been in the political scenery of Cebu for the past few years.

Governor-elect Jun Jun Davide got a total of 654,054 votes, the highest votes among the provinces in the Philippines. He won with a wide margin against Juan Pablo Garcia III who got only with 490,148 votes.
The running mate of Davide, current Cebu Governor Agnes Magpale also won her seat as Vice Governor of Cebu.
