FIBA Records: 43,000 Tickets Sold

The Philippines will have a new FIBA Basketball World Cup Record after some insiders confirmed that the country will set a new attendance record at the Philippine Arena on Friday.

FIBA World Cup record is 32,616, but based on the data provided, 43,000 tickets have been sold, and only 3,000 are left at the box office.

The media team from various local, national, and international media, officials, staff, VIPs, and Teams is expected to fill in the number of around 4,000.

Organizers of the FIBA World Cup 2023 in the Philippines are eyeing an audience of over 50,000 attendees, which could bring another title and recognition for the Philippines.

The Gilas Pilipinas squad will kick its bid to earn a passage to the 2024 Paris Olympics, which the Nationals could achieve by becoming the highest Asian finisher in the World Cup against FIBA America’s qualifier Dominican Republic. If the Philippines could provide these numbers, it could be a remarkable FIBA record.
