Teleperformance for All Ushers More Jobs with STEP in Pasig City

After the Skills Training to Employment Program (STEP) was introduced in 2023, Teleperformance in the Philippines, a leading global provider of digital solutions, recently solidified its commitment to the Pasig City local government by signing a memorandum of agreement (MOA).

The TP for All initiative’s impact sourcing program is significant in combating unemployment and supporting marginalized groups, including Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), individuals from underserved communities, long-term unemployed individuals, and former Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).

He highlighted the program’s focus on training individuals for employment and empowering them to contribute meaningfully to their communities.

The TP STEP curriculum, designed by industry experts, aims to equip participants with the skills necessary for success in the contact center industry. In its initial run in 2023, the program helped 68 graduates secure employment.

CEO Rahul Jolly emphasized the program’s focus on long-term success for learners and expressed pride in its positive impact on graduates’ lives. He expressed a desire for further collaboration with other local government units (LGUs) and partners to expand the program’s reach.

Key figures present at the MOA signing event included Mayor Vico Sotto, Teleperformance Philippines CEO Rahul Jolly, Chief People Officer Jeffrey Johnson, Vice President of Human Resources and Communications & Marketing Rachel Majito-Cacabelos, and members of the Pasig LGU.

Among the successful graduates present were Dale Roland Montejo, Vivian Sulit, Keischia Mae Ganutan, and Rommuelle Jay Tabor, who shared their experiences with the program. Vivian, a former OFW, credited TP STEP with providing opportunities during the pandemic and facilitating her return to work. Dale, a customer service representative and education degree-holder, highlighted the program’s value in providing employment for marginalized individuals like himself.

High school graduates Keischia and Jay emphasized the program’s role in improving their communication skills and self-confidence, enabling them to pursue employment opportunities they previously thought were out of reach.
