Nathan Senn’s Profile Bio:

Who is Nathan Senn, why is he called a self-taught coder, and how did he become one of the most successful blockchain developers in the Philippines, a country he now calls home. He co-founded a Phiippine-based decentralized micro-blogging platform (DBuzz) built on the Hive blockchain and is the CEO of DataLoft LLC.

Nathan Senn is now married to a beautiful Filipina from Davao City, Philippines. He currently stays there with an office for his company, DataLoft, and for the decentralized micro-blogging platform DBuzz.

Nathan Senn’s Early Years:

Nathan Senn grew up in El Dorado, Arkansas, United States, and was already learning about computers from age six. At the age of nine, he started coding and programming, according to the information provided by El Dorado News.

During his early teen years, most of his time was spent coding and making video games. In his early twenties, he founded a family-friendly web search engine called YouSearch and participated in angel investor events but never received funding.

According to Nathan Senn in his interview with Jonaed Iqbal from The No Degree podcast, he had no formal education. Still, he just started developing software, which snowballed from there to where it is now: Nathan Senn, a serial entrepreneur and blockchain developer.

Nathan Senn on The No Degree Podcast:

Out of High School, Nathan Senn started working as a Chef at Huddle House, working in construction areas and other jobs, but eventually, as far as he can remember, his last formal career was at a metal forming shop before finally making money with computers.

Nathan Senn then ended up in the Philippines, finding clients and developers to work on different projects, and later on got into the Web3 space.

Founded SuperiorCoin:

Nathan Senn continued his search to make his dream come true to build something that could be useful online, and in his mid-twenties, he began the investigative research necessary to start his masterwork; this time around, he founded a new cryptocurrency, the SuperiorCoin, and became it’s first Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

In July 2017, the self-taught coder ended the Initial Coin Offering (ICO) for SuperiorCoin and obtained the funding necessary to continue his dream of improving the world.

The CEO of Superior Coin was no other than the brother of Nathan, Michael Senn, who noted in an interview with El Dorado news that the SuperiorCoin is not a U.S.-based currency; it’s a worldwide currency.

The idea of SuperiorCoin was made possible through the efforts of Nathan Senn after he looked through open-source code recommended by Roger Ver, also known as “Bitcoin Jesus,” an early investor in the digital currency startup sector and other Bitcoin-related startups.

Joining Steemit/Hive and Founded D.Buzz:

In 2019, Nathan Senn revealed that a fellow Steemit user, Chris Rice, approached him and partnered with him in building a decentralized social media platform, and over the past three years, they developed it into a fully launched product.

According to Nathan Senn in an interview with CoinGeek, users of D.Buzz can post content on the decentralized social media platform as they own their content and account, and no matter what happens, their content is immutable because it’s on the Hive blockchain.

The blockchain developer based in Davao City will be doing a 5-minute keynote speech representing Hive as one of the partners of Bitskwela in promoting Web3 and cryptocurrency education here in the Philippines.

The event, dubbed Bull or Bear Cebu, will feature the best and brightest minds in the Philippine Web3 industry as they tackle the issues of Web3 adoption in the country this coming July 15, 2023, at the Ayala Malls Central Block, Cebu IT Park, Cebu City.
