Ken Berey Signs MOA with Davao City PNP
ConnectWeb3 Philippines owner and chief executive officer (CEO) Kenneth James Berey or Ken Berry signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Davao City Mobile Force Company to serve as a member of the 2nd City Mobile Force Company Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (2nd CMFCAGPTD)-ICT Sector.
The 2nd City Mobile Force Company is a support unit of the Davao City Police Office of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and was represented by Police Lt. Col. Randy Paye Sambalod during the MOA signing. The Advisory Group of the Davao City PNP aims to establish a framework for cooperation between the PNP Davao City and ConnectWeb3 PH to educate the community about digital technology and scope of Web3 technology.
Aside from being a necessity, digital technology awareness will serve as an anti-criminality measure against cybercrime. The initiative between the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) and ConnectWeb3 will establish cooperative activities such as establishing a target audience and conducting professional seminars, workshops, and training sessions to enhance the awareness of the community regarding ICT and promoting crime prevention, anti-criminality measures against cybercrime and those unlicensed Web3 projects, companies or using blockchain tech for their own interests.
As the CEO of ConnectWeb3 & Blockchain Network Philippines (BNP), one of the leading Web3 Marketing Companies from Mindanao, Kenneth James Berey will conduct community engagements in partnership with other government agencies, volunteer organizations, private/public schools or universities, and individuals to build relationships such as trust and respect between the PNP organization and the community.
