Eric Clark Su is a Web3 builder and investor at a Web3 gaming and metaverse accelerator which is Gamepad. He is also the co-founder and CEO of PicLyf and Exnetwork Capital. After discovering blockchain, he became a big believer in decentralization and started a validator company, a blockchain growth agency, and a Web3 venture capital firm.

The recognized Filipino venture capitalist Eric Su graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) from John Paul II College in Davao City from 2000 to 2004. He was an active member of the Computer Science Club during his college years.

Eric Su volunteered for various organizations and communities in the Philippines. He has been a volunteer in AngelHack as a Judge since August 2014. AngelHack is a global leader in developer relations and marketing, and they help tech companies get their products into the hands of developers across the world.

Recognition from International Companies

The venture capitalist Eric Su won as AngelHack winner in August 2015 after he led a team that conceptualized and designed a product and won a 24-hour hackathon against 30 teams. Samsung also recognized him as the Philippine representative in Singapore during the company’s Worldwide Gear App Challenge. He designed the product called Epic Life – a full post-apocalyptic adventure game on a smartwatch (Samsung gear). This project was associated with FuFu Labs.

Cavalcade Games placed second in the global game competition organized by UK’s Orange Telecom, and Su’s team won the prize money worth around €4,000.

Eric Clark Su co-founded PicLyf, a pictures-only blogging platform where visual content is the focus of the community. The product provides badges, quests, fun community activities and hooks up Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, and many other APIs to let members use their existing social networks to jumpstart their picture blogs.

PicLyf was described as one of the coolest ways to turn your pictures into stories. The company is a small group of Internet geeks and entrepreneurs from Davao City. The Philippine-based app started by raising $10,000 in seed funding in 2009, followed by $11,000 from angel investor Toivo Annus, co-founder of Skype, and $20,000 from Jehzeel Laurente in 2010.

Eric Su was the co-founder and CEO of Exnetwork Capital, an investment firm focused on funding innovation in the decentralization movement. The company was founded in 2018 and has been a key ingredient in the success of numerous projects launched since they started their operations in the Philippines.

Some notable companies funded with the help of Exnetwork Capital include Kingdom Karnage, Alphadex, Heroes of Mavia, Bullieverse, VisionGame, KlayCity, Reign of Terror, and Volare Finance.
