Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE) Results

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will release the February 2024 Criminologist Board Exam Results and the Complete List of CLE Passers this coming March 6, 2024. The PRC will announce the Criminologist Licensure Exam (CLE) results after 22 working days from the last day of the examination. 

Update: As announced, 15,684 out of 32,495 (48.27%) passed the exams.

The Board of Criminology under the Professional Regulation Commission administered the first CLE this year on February 2, 3, and 4. The CLE was conducted from Friday to Sunda in various testing centers nationwide. Examinations were held in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, Calapan (Oriental Mindoro), Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, San Fernando (Pampanga), Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bohol, Calbayog, Cauayan (Isabela), Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Occidental Mindoro, Rosales and Bayambang (Pangasinan).

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, the Board of Criminology comprises Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, who served as Chairman of the Board; Hon. Lani T. Palmones and Hon. Warren M. Corpuz as Board Members.

Registration and Oathtaking (Criminologist Board Exam)

The Professional Regulation Commission reminded all the examinees of the Criminologist Licensure Examination that the Registration for issuing a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online. To do so, visit the official website of PRC’s Online Registration Portal and follow the instructions for initial registration. 

Date of Registration: According to the PRC, the registration date will be announced later. 

Reminders: Those who will register are required to bring the following.

  • Downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • Notice of admission (for identification only)
  • Two (2) pieces of passport-sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • Two (2) sets of documentary stamps
  • One (1) piece short brown envelope

The PRC also noted that all the successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals. The date and venue of the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees of the Criminologist Board Passers will be announced later, according to the PRC. 

Expected Release of the Criminologist Board Exam

According to the official announcement released by the Professional Regulation Commission based on PRC Resolution No. 1728 series of 2023 on “Schedule of Licensure Examination for the Year 2024, the target release date of the Crimininologist Board Exam will be on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, or in 22 working days after the last day of the examination. 

Although there’s an expected release date of the examination, there are times that the release date will be ahead of schedule or sometimes on a later date, but all these releases will be announced without prior notice. Therefore, we advise you to monitor and visit this website, PhilNews.xyz, frequently for updates. You can start tracking the results announcement from February 23, 2024, or in 14 working days. 

Previous Criminologist Exam Results Release

During the August 2023 Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE), the PRC released the exam results in fourteen (14) working days from the last examination day. A total of 5,743 out of 17,576 passed the tests. Jericson Balaba Jalagat from Ramon Magsaysay Memorial College – Marbel aced the board with 90.15%. King’s College of the Phils Inc. – Benguet was the top performing school, with 88.89% or 56 out of 63 passing the exams.

In the year 2023 also, in the CLE conducted on April 2023, PRC released the results after 16 working days, with a total of 4,139 out of 13,000 passing the exams. Kenneth Olbita dela Torre from Naga College Foundation topped the board with 89.00%. Cagayan de Oro College was the top-performing school, with 87.06% or 74 out of 85 passing.
