Netizens Speak About MrBeast & HiveGhana Borehole

During the past few weeks, MrBeast made some headlines for building 100 wells in Africa, gaining praise on both social and mainstream media. Still, in the Twitterverse, there’s some discussion of comparison between the YouTuber’s project and the community-initiated borehole project in Ghana.

In the announcement post by MrBeast on Twitter or X, a veteran creative director, Ruben Cress, commended the YouTuber’s project in Africa. Still, he reminded MrBeast that Hive user Mc Sammuel had built 13 wells in Africa through the HiveGhana initiative and noted that the project was created for free and not getting paid to do so.

Ruben Cress also noted that McSammuel is not as rich as MrBeast, so he asks everybody to give him a lot of respect and encourage MrBeast to help the Ghanaian netizen on his Hive Borehole project.

Ruben Cress has worked with various clients, including former Netherlands Prime Minister Mark Rutte, on his impactful goodwill project in Ghana.

Another interesting comment on the viral MrBeast & HiveGhana Borehole project is from Twitter user Kmilo Noa, who described the difference.

Kmilo Noa said that the difference is not 100 versus 12. “The first one belongs to an old model: #Africa’s dependence on aid and donations. But the second one is the drive of its own community using censorship-resistant technologies for the common wellness.”

Hive user McSammuel or Samuel Boadi was also thankful for MrBeast’s project, and he was excited to do the same project in Ghana for free without getting paid but out of love, dedication, sacrifice, and, most of all, community empowerment and encourage the YouTuber to take a look at their Hive borehole project.

In the latest post on Hive, McSammuel praised MrBeast’s initiative in Africa, but the initiative leads everybody to ponder.

The veteran Hive user and head volunteer of the Hive Borehole project in Ghana asked about the possibilities of MrBeast’s projects without substantial wealth and external support.

McSamm clarified that the beauty lies not just in MrBeast’s accomplishments but in the comparison it sparked when compared to the Hive blockchain, which is operating solely through its Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) system, has successfully established 13 boreholes in Ghana, which is already a remarkable achievement that deserves significant recognition.

The community leader and Hive organizer Ghana was joyful as he thought of MrBeast’s accomplishment. However, it is critical to recognize, according to him, the great effort made by the Hive community, which was accomplished without the support of others.

The argument comparing MrBeast & Hive Ghana borehole gathered prominence, emphasizing the necessity of Hivers participating in debates advancing the Hive blockchain initiative.

McSamm reminded every Hive user how vital the community is in the representation of meaningful reforms, and he welcome everyone to join the discourse on Twitter, where they can lend their voice to demonstrate the significant effect of Hive boreholes.

The Hive Ghana Borehole project team leader, MacSammuel, shared the links to the discussion on Twitter and enumerated the story of each Hive Ghana Borehole project.
